In September 2012, I started a regular internship with Seven News in Brisbane. During this, I was offered the opportunity to train as an Assistant Producer and I now work as a weekend AP. At the beginning of each day I am given a scheduled news updates list for Brisbane, which tells me the duration and time that each update needs to run. Essentially, my role is to attract people to watch the nightly bulletin, teasing viewers and promoting our bulletin content. I also write promos, breakers and LVOs, cut back stories and produce interstate and international sotories by timing and formulating supers.

In 2012 I created a series of short films, some of which aired on ABC News 24. The best part about making these was that I got to see them through from start to finish.
