In July 2012, I contacted the News Director at ABC Gold Coast and arranged to do an internship with radio news.

By the end of my time there, I was working independently, coming up with story ideas, sourcing and interviewing talent and writing and editing material using ABC software.

I covered a range of local and state issues from environmental debates in Currumbin to statewide education reforms. I interviewed a host of different people, such as former Deputy Prime Minister Wayne Swan, QLD Premier Campbell Newman and Gold Coast Suns captain Gary Ablett.

I am currently a radio journalist at SeaFm Gold Coast where I source and interview talent, attend press conferences, write and edit RVO's for news.

I am also write and read national bulletins on weekends, that are transmitted to 36 locations throughout Australia.
